As a Buyer’s Agent, Global Jet Sales contracts with the buyer to represent the buyer’s best interests in the acquisition of pre-owned and / or new aircraft. With this agreement in place, the buyer benefits from our well established industry contacts and vast experience in negotiating the acquisition of aircraft; assuring the purchase of exactly the right airplane for exactly the right price.
1. CONSULTING
- Provide discretion and anonymity in all phases of project.
- Analyze mission profile, runway requirements and passenger load.
- Establish budgetary guidelines.
- Identify appropriate aircraft types to suit clients’ needs.
2. SELECTIONS PROCESS
- Presentation and evaluation of a selection of suitable aircraft to meet the clients’ needs.
- Analysis of selected aircraft in regard to operating costs and performance.
- Prepare Market Overview of selected aircraft and comparatives.
3. TARGETED AIRCRAFT
- Prepare offers and escrow arrangements.
4. INTERNATIONAL REGISTRY AND PROSPECTIVE INTERNATIONAL INTEREST
- GJS will assist in the complicated international registry requirements (Capetown Convention).
5. CONTRACTS/NEGOTIATIONS
- Provide model contracts, agreements, escrow arrangements and aid in the negotiation of terms and conditions for the aircraft, giving you the advantage of our many years of specialized experience in every phase of aircraft sales & disposal.
- Consult on 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange, if applicable.
- Provide all the required FAA documents.
6. PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION
- Schedule and supervise inspections and demo flights.
- Provide any necessary quotes for upgrades, changes, etc. to accomplish client’s objectives.
7. FINANCIAL SERVICES
- Provide a list of the leading aviation finance consultants best suited to the clients needs.
8. COMPLETIONS
- Assist in the selection of options, interior choices, floor plans and general outfitting of the new aircraft.
